Once Upon a Meadow is a small family farm that calls North Carolina's Piedmont Triad home. Situated on 20 acres of pasture and woodland just north of Kernersville NC, our farm seeks to find ways to improve and sustain the land that has become home to our family and friends as well as an extended family of goats, chickens, turkeys, and their guardian animals.
We run a small herd of 30 goats, a varying flock of heritage turkeys, and a flock of 50 Brown Leghorn and Amberlink laying hens. We also have heirloom apples, pawpaws, plums, peaches, pears, and a garden with a seasonal abundance of good green growing things for home and market that extends through most of the year.
